JAMES GREGORY CHOATE

James Gregory Choate, age 67, of Belton, Missouri, passed away at home on Thursday, July 8, 2021.

A burial will be held at Wills Cemetery on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 10:00 a.m.

James was born on April 21, 1954 in Grandview, Missouri to James A. Choate and Margaret A. (Wilson) Choate. After graduating from high school, he furthered his education with some trade courses and created for himself a successful career in automotive painting. In life James was a very selfless man, he would do anything for anyone. He loved racing dirt circle tracks, playing guitar and could build anything. He was a very intelligent man, always educating himself on different areas. James also took much pride in his country as well as his father's honorable service in the United States Army.
