Jacqueline J. Gatton, age 81, of Belton, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 10, 2021.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. Visitation will resume on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Graveside committal will be held following services at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Kansas City, Kansas.

Jackie was born in Rock Island, Illinois on May 27, 1939 to Leonard "Red" K. Bealer and Zana L. (Cook) Bealer. She was one of nine children growing up. After graduating high school Jackie was joined in marriage with her late husband Howard on November 30, 1957. Together they were blessed with five daughters and shared over fifty-six happy years together. Jackie was a woman of Christian faith and devoted her life to being a mother, not only to her own children but to others as well. In life she loved crocheting, sewing, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Jackie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Howard J. Gatton; parents, Leonard and Zana Bealer; three brothers, Pat, Tom and Jack Bealer; and son in law, Joseph Short.
She leaves behind her five loving daughters, Teresa Gatton, Linda Meier (Kyle), Joyce Short, June Babb (Robert), and Charlotte Long (Coby); three brothers, Bill Bealer, Kenny Bealer (Anne), and Dick Bealer; two sisters, Sharon Hentzen (Tom) and Sally Strom (Randy); eleven grandchildren, Somer Dokolas (Pete), Jordan Umphress (Adriane), Casey Meier, Bethany Wyles (Andrew), Spencer Babb, Blake Babb, Caroline Cairns (David), Candace Dealy, Roxanne Evans, Carly Long, and Jakoby Long; and fifteen great grandchildren with one on the way.
