Jacob "Jake" L. Scott, 22, of Grandview, MO passed away April 13, 2015. Visitation will be held 6-8 PM Friday, April 17, 2015 at the First Baptist Church of Raymore 116 S Washington St., Raymore, MO 64083 with services 10 AM Saturday, April 18, 2015. Burial will be in the Raymore Cemetery, Raymore, MO.

Jake was born April 18, 1992 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of William (Bill) G. Scott and Elizabeth (Libby) Braithwait Brown. Jake was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John R. and Mary C. Scott; maternal grandfather, Charles Braithwait; and paternal step grandfather, Robert Meyer. He is survived by his mother, Libby Brown and husband Lynn; father, Bill Scott and wife Michelle; sisters, Jessica Moore and Katie Scott; step brother, Zach Brown; step sisters, Aubrey and Sarah Brown; maternal grandparents, Steve and Betty Breshears; maternal step grandparents, Larry and Alma Brown; maternal step grandmother, Sandra Braithwait; paternal step grandmother, Marilyn Meyer; paternal step grandparents, Harold and Dee Imke.

Jake enjoyed spending time with friends and family. He always loved giving hugs and sharing his heart with those around him. Jake would want loved ones to celebrate the time that he had here on this earth. Remember him with laughter and smiles. He will be missed dearly by all those who were blessed to have known him.
