After graduating high school, Jack proudly served in the United States Navy from 1963 to 1965 and continued his commitment through the Navy Reserve until 1968. His years in the military instilled in him a strong work ethic and deep sense of responsibility that would carry through every chapter of his life.

An avid automobile enthusiast, Jack found great joy in restoring cars with his son. He took particular pride in his 1973 Corvette—a lasting symbol of craftsmanship and shared passion.

He is survived by his son Darrin (Lydia) Teague; grandchildren Riley (Rale) Gutierrez, Evan Teague, and Ty Teague; brothers Ronnie Teague, Jim Teague; sisters Donna Tipton and Faye Teague; as well as numerous nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly.
