JACKIE "JACK" HOLBERT

Jackie 'Jack' Holbert, 83, of Belton, MO, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 18, 2025.

Jack was born on March 4, 1942, in Richland, MO, to Harry B. Pete' Holbert and Ruth (Fellers) Holbert.  He attended school in Pleasant Hope, MO where he spent most of his childhood.  A man of faith, Jack was baptized in the Pumlytire River in Pleasant Hope at the age of 9.  He married the love of his life, his late wife Patricia Holbert, on December 17, 1966.  They spent their early years in Harrisonville, MO and later moved to Belton, MO.  They were blessed with one daughter, Kerri, and one son, Kevin.  Jack proudly served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War, earning several medals for his service.  He dedicated 30 years to General Motors before retiring.  Jack loved spending time outdoors and treasured every moment with his family.

Jack was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia (Vineyard) Holbert; his parents, Pete and Ruth; brothers Harry B. Holbert Jr., Dannie Joe Holbert, infant Larry Holbert; and sister Gloria Jean Holt.

He is lovingly survived by his daughter Kerri Bell (Jason), son Kevin Holbert (Annette), grandchildren Stefeni Tormanen (Nick Maker), Layne Holbert, Krystal Fietsam (Dan), Madalyn Bell, Maverick McDowell (Nina), Logan McDowell, and great-granddaughters Olyvia, Sophia, and Evelynn. Jack also cherished his nieces, nephews, life-long best friend, Guy Johnson (Shelah), and his wonderful neighbors, who meant so much to him.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, August 29, 2025, with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W Foxwood Drive, Raymore, MO. Burial will follow at Belton Cemetery, 710 S. Scott Ave, Belton, MO.
