JACK BANKS
Jack Banks, 73, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 after an extended battle with cancer.
A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13 from 4-6pm at the Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Drive, Raymore, Mo.
Jack was born in Gardner, Kansas on February 1, 1952 to F. Jack and Norma Banks. He proudly served in the Army National Guard. Jack's life work was in the swimming pool construction industry, following in the footsteps of his dad. He was a true outdoorsman and fishing friend. Jack loved fast cars, deep sea fishing and boating to the Bahamas. He enjoyed hunting both small and big game and was sure to teach his sons and grandchildren skills they could use for a lifetime.
Jack was a flamboyant storyteller that we could all agree to listen to and believe with "a grain of salt". His grandchildren were the absolute light of his life.
Jack was preceded in death by his dad, F. Jack Banks and his daughter Megan Rogers. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Trella Hill Banks and his sons Mason, Blake (Britney), Bryce (Tiffany) and grandchildren Caden, Colton, Maverick and Brynlee. Jack is survived by his mother, Norma and brothers Rick (Brenda), Mark (Marsha) and Roger (Lynn) and a large extended family. He also leaves behind his best buddy Danny Cook.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kansas City Hospice.
