IRMGARD FRANZISKA FULKERSON

Irmgard Franziska Fulkerson, age 85, of Belton, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at Leavenworth National Cemetery in Leavenworth, Kansas.

Irmgard was born in Dudenhofen, Germany on December 2, 1938, to Johann Joseph Schuck and Anna Katharina Kratz. She was joined in marriage to her late husband, Charles Fulkerson in December 1961. Irmgard worked in many areas throughout her life including Spire Energy. However, her most recent work was as a Hostess at Ryan's Buffet during its tenure in Raymore.  In life, Irmgard was a crafter at heart, creating many different items in the area of jewelry, crocheting, and stained-glass.

Irmgard was preceded in death by her husband Charles; parents, Johann and Anna Schuck; brothers, Friedel, Horst, and sister, Rosel.

She is survived by her sister, Emma Ohara (George); five nieces, Gwendolynn, Marianne, Ingrid, Blenda and Gabby; cousin Vicki Shop (Dave); special friends, Jess Livingston and Helen Panebianco; beloved canine companion, Truman; and many other friends.
