HOWARD G. COX

Howard G. Cox, age 85, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, passed away on September 20, 2018 at John Knox Village Care Center.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society ( http://www.cancersociety.org ).

Howard was born on November 17, 1932 in Richmond, Missouri. He was the son of Howard R. Cox and Pauline Campbell.

Howard was joined in marriage with his late wife, Gail Crowley in 1962. Together they were blessed with a son, Mark.

Howard was proud of his service to his country as a member of the United States Air Force during the Korean War and was known to many as an avid pilot. As a civilian, Howard worked as an electrical engineer, giving 25 years of dedicated service to Western Electric.

Family was most important to him. Howard was blessed with his loving daughter-in-law, Traci and two grandsons, Brett and Garrett.

Howard is preceded in death by his loving wife of over 50 years, Gail Cox; parents Howard and Pauline Cox; two uncles Clyde Ward and Jack Cox; and aunt Janie Ward.

He is survived by his son Mark Cox (Wife Traci); and two grandsons Brett Cox (Wife Catherine) and Garrett Cox (Wife Aerial).
