HILARY AMBER PLUMLEE
Hilary Amber Plumlee, age 52, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 19, 2026.
Hilary was the light of every room she entered. Whether at home, at work, in the community, or gathered with family and friends, she brought warmth, curiosity, and an unmistakable joy that made everyone around her feel seen and loved. She had a gift for asking questions and truly listening to the answers, and she was genuinely, endlessly interested in the people around her. She never met a stranger she couldn't turn into a friend.
As a wife, mother, and stepmother, Hilary gave herself completely to her family. She was Darren's best friend and soul mate, and together they built a home filled with love, laughter, and adventure. She was a devoted mother to her daughters, Eva Grace Noland and Mia Quinn Noland, who knew her as their best friend, their biggest cheerleader, and their safe place, and a loving stepmother to Andrew Edward Plumlee and Brooks Everett Plumlee, whom she welcomed and loved as her own from the very beginning. She built a rare and gracious friendship with the boys' mother, and together they gave both families a joyful, blended home.
Hilary spent her professional career where colleagues and clients knew her for her extraordinary talent, warmth, and genuine desire to help others. Hilary had a way of bringing order to tasks while making everyone feel supported. She even considered her most recent role as “food for her soul.”
Hilary loved deeply and lived fully. She cherished travel, a glass of wine whether it be from a Bota Box or nice bottle, cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs, the KU Jayhawks, and the Kansas City Royals. She never missed a chance to gather with family and friends at the clubhouse, or around the table, and she was always ready for one more photo, one more toast, and one more memory with the people she loved — including her golden-doodle, Koda, who was always close by her side. Above all, Hilary's faith was central to who she was. She had accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, and that faith gives her family the certain hope that they will see her again.
Hilary is best described as kind, genuine, selfless, and full of light. She was deeply loved, and she will be deeply, deeply missed.
Hilary is preceded in death by her father, Bobby Wayne Webster.
She is survived by her husband, Darren Plumlee, her daughters, Eva Grace Noland and Mia Quinn Noland; her stepsons, Andrew Edward Plumlee and Brooks Everett Plumlee; her mother, Mamba Tibbals, and her husband, Doug Tibbals; her sister, Jaime Burkott, and her husband, Doug Burkott; her brother, Blake Webster, and his wife, Laurel Sherwood-Webster; and a host of extended family and friends who each held a piece of her heart.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr., Raymore, Missouri 64083.
