HELMUTH R. SCHLENKRICH
Helmuth R. Schlenkrich, 91, of Peculiar, MO passed away August 31, 2013. Funeral services will be 11 AM Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Cullen Funeral Home with visitation 10-11 AM. Burial will be in Peculiar Cemetery. Helmuth lived a long, healthy and fulfilling life alongside his bride Susanne. He was born May 26, 1922 in Pirna, Germany, the son of Richard H. and Hulda C. Hofmann Schlenkrich. Helmuth was preceded in death by his wife, Susanne; parents; two brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his son, Manfred G. Schlenkrich (Donna) of Norfork, AR; two granddaughters, Christine Meuten (Steven) of Leawood, KS and Lisa Rasmussen also of Leawood; and four great-grandchildren, Jack and Henry Meuten and Kate and Jane Rasmussen. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association 3846 W. 75th St. Prairie Village, KS 66208.
