HELEN M. FRAZIER
Helen M. Frazier, age 89, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away of heart failure on Sunday, February 10, 2019 surrounded by her loving family at Belton Regional Medical Center.
A Visitation Service will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2019 followed by a Funeral Service at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri, 64083. A Burial will be held immediately following the Funeral Service at Raymore Cemetery in Raymore, Missouri.
Helen was born on October 25, 1929 in Kansas City, Missouri to Gus Triantos and Emma (Apperson) Triantos. She married Donald Lee Frazier in 1952 and together they were blessed with two children, Laura and Daniel.
In life, Helen loved to sing and listen to music, especially the Big Band sound. She was a long-time member of the Kansas City Organ Club. She also wrote poetry and attended a creative writing class. Helen and Don enjoyed their time together traveling and going on adventures. Facing her fear of flying and water, Helen traveled with Don to Hawaii.
In her late 40's, Helen asked Jesus Christ to be her Savior. She became a new creation, a child of God. She enjoyed singing in church and worshipping Him with her whole heart. Six words that sum up Helen's life are, "A life redeemed, thank you Jesus."
Helen is preceded in death by her devoted husband of 61 years, Donald Lee Frazier; her parents, Gus Triantos and Emma Apperson, her granddaughter, Tiffane' Phillips, and sister-in-law, Teri Frazier.
She is survived by her daughter, Laura Harsh {Mark}; son, Daniel Frazier {Vera}; two grandchildren, Heather Schofield {Darryl} and Jennifer Kilgore {Paul}; five great grandchildren, Alexander, Amelia, Logan, Ruby, and Samuel; and brother-in-law, Ed Frazier.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Church on the Rock, 1700 SW Market St., Lee's Summit, Missouri 64082 or the American Heart Association, 6800 93 rd St., Overland Park, Kansas 66212.
