Harry C. Owen, 80, of Belton, Missouri passed away February 2, 2010 at his home. He was born May 23, 1929 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of Harry and Ruth Owen. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM Saturday, February 6th at St. Sabina Catholic Church 700 Trevis Belton, Missouri with visitation 5-8 PM Friday with prayer service at 7:30 PM at the church. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorials may be made to ALS Association Keith Worthington Chapter 6950 Squibb Rd. Harry grew up in the Hickman Mills area attended Ruskin High School and graduated from Wentworth Military Academy and attended the University of Missouri. He started Owen Lumber Company in Belton, Missouri in 1971, was a member of St. Sabina Catholic Church and a Air Force Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother James. Harry is survived by his wife of 57 years Vicky; sons, Gary and wife Kelly, Kevin and wife Debbie, Daniel and wife Karen; sister, Mary Jo Mayta of Wichita, Kansas; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
