Rev. Harold H. Holcomb, 67, of Peculiar, MO passed into the loving arms of Jesus on May 28, 2010. Come and celebrate his life at funeral services 11am Thursday, June 3rd at Cullen Funeral Home with visitation 6:00-8:00pm Wednesday, June 2nd. Burial will be in Peculiar Cemetery. Harold was born September 25, 1942 in Holton, KS the son of Myron and Lottie Curtis Holcomb. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Peggy Swank. He is survived by his wife Janet (Jan); sons, Wayne Holcomb and Jeffrey Forbis; daughters, Tamyra Dean and Lisa Forbis; sister, Beverly Cress; nine grandchildren, Travis, Taylor, John, Chandler, Camden, Katie, Christy, Jayda and Robbie; great grandson, Kona; and his wonderful faithful Molly. Harold moved to Kansas City area in 1984 and established his business which became Complete Auto Recon Specialist, Inc. which he ran until his retirement in 2006 due to health issues. He was a licensed minister with the Independent Assemblies for many years and served in his church Raymore Assembly of God as a Trustee on the Board, as a preacher and a teacher. One of his great loves was playing his guitar & singing praises to the Lord. The family wishes to thank Kansas City Hospice, especially Sherrie, Shashonda & Lorrie for the tender, loving care they extended to Harold. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to Raymore Assembly of God Church, 118 W. Walnut, Raymore, MO 64083 to honor his memory.
