H. MAURINE (BARNETT) SIEGRIST

H. Maurine (Barnett) Siegrist passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 9, 2010. Maurine was born on July 2, 1918 in Trenton, Missouri to Harry and Georgia Barnett. She spent her early years in the Chillicothe, Missouri area and graduated from Wheeling High School in 1936. On March 21, 1938 she was united in marriage to Leo Dale Siegrist. She is survived by her two sons, Ronald Lee Siegrist and wife Judi, of Washington, NC and Gary Dee Siegrist of Richardson, Texas; four grandchildren, Leigh Ann (John) Nelson of Caledonia, Michigan, R. Troy (Caroline) Siegrist of Wixom, Michigan, Curtis W. (Erin) Siegrist of Tyler, Texas and Carrie D. Siegrist of Richardson, Texas; eight great grandchildren, Joey, Jessica, and Janae Nelson, Brian, Emily and Eric Siegrist, Branden and Gunner Siegrist; and a sister, Patricia Bates of Belton, Missouri. Maurine had a career in Food Service for many years serving customers in several fine restaurants in the Kansas City Area. She served faithfully with distinction in the Order of the Eastern Star for 56 years. She was a member of Belton Christian Church for 17 years. In Maurine's later years she lived at Pickering Place Retirement Community where she leaves many loving friends who were her extended family. Maurine was preceded in death by her husband, Leo, five brothers and two sisters. A celebration of remembrances of the life of Maurine will be at Cullen Funeral Home 612 W. Foxwood Raymore, Missouri Sunday, December 12, 2010 with visitation from 2-3 PM followed by services at 3:00 PM. Burial will be Monday in Wheeling, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, Maurine requested memorial contributions to Masonic Eastern Star Outreach 6033 Masonic Dr., Ste. A Columbia, Missouri 65202 or the charity of your choice.
