Gwendolyn "Diane" Smith, 55, Olathe, passed away at the Kansas City Hospice House January 16, 2010.
She was born October 7, 1954 in Kansas City, MO.
Preceeding her in death was her mother; Virginia Fincher Calahan.
She is survived by her father Rocky Calahan; grandmother Anna Skaggs George, two brothers Rocky L. Calahan and Richard Calahan; three children Derek Smith and his wife Toni Smith, Brandi Smith, and James Parrish; two grandchildren Logan Smith and Ava Smith; her significant other, Richard Parrish; many other friends and relatives. Cremation.
Diane worked for UPS for 17 years, until her retirement on December 31, 2009.
A visitation and celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 23, 2010 from 3-5 pm at Cullen Funeral Home in Raymore, MO.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Kansas City Hospice House.
