GLENN R. WERTH
Glenn R. Werth, age 80, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away on Friday, November 2, 2018 at Foxwood Springs.
A Rosary and Visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1800 MO- 150, Lee's Summit, Missouri 64082. A Funeral Mass will be held following Visitation at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society, 1100 Pennsylvania Ave., Kansas City, Missouri 64105.
Glenn was born on March 26, 1938 in Schoenchen, Kansas. He was the son of Robert J. Werth and Leona S. Dreiling. Growing up, Glenn had two brothers, Robert and James.
In the summer of 1959 on June 20 th , Glenn was joined in marriage with his wife Carole Werth. Together they were blessed with four daughters Lisa, Jeanne, Kathleen, and Lori. Early in Glenn's working career he was an accountant, however during the past thirty years Glenn made a career as an Ergonomics Engineer for General Motors. Glenn was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Lee's Summit Missouri. He also very much enjoyed fishing, gardening, boating, and of course spending time with his family.
Glenn is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Leona Werth; and daughter Lisa Werth Jones.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Carole Werth; three daughters Jeanne Huntley (Troy), Kathleen M. Teahan (Michael), and Lori Sheerman (Todd); son in law, Tim Jones; two brothers, Robert J. Werth Jr. (Beverly) and James A. Werth (Carol); nephew, Eric Werth; eleven grandchildren, Nick Jones, Alex Jones (Valon), Patrick Jones, Matt Huntley (Nichole), Mitch Huntley (Maria), Jacqueline Teahan, Megan Teahan, Shannon Teahan, Claire E. Sheerman, William, J. Sheerman, and Trent C. Sheerman; and two great grandchildren, Harper and George.
