GLEN RAY TRUE
Glen Ray True, age 77, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Monday, March 17, 2025.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 5, 2025 at the Shambaugh and Cope Cemetery in Weatherby, Missouri.
Glen was born in Jamestown, Tennessee to Raymond Glen True and Noda Marie (Lewis). Glen created for himself a lifelong career that he loved as a Metallurgist. For over fifty years, Glen owned his own business, Superior Metal Treating. In life, Glen enjoyed coon hunting along with his champion hunting dogs, his Arabian horses, and spending time at the casino on slot machines. Glen was a generous man, who deeply valued the relationships he was blessed with in life.
Glen was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Noda; and sister, Jane.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon (Fant) True; son, Glen Allen True (Brandy); nieces and nephews, Kelsey, Mirabel, and Marshall Fant; and dear friend who was like a son, Jeff Vehige and his family.
Glen's family would like to extend a special thanks to the caring and professional staff of St. Croix Hospice.
