They lived in Kansas City where she began her own family of six children, Kathy Lamar Manning, Stan Lamar, Gale Lamar, Paula Lamar Rough, Pam Lamar Rauscher and Rick Lamar. Jerry was a strong devoted mom who raised her six kids emotionally and financially by herself with lots of support from her family and friends. She babysat and did ironing until her youngest went to school. She worked for Safeway 24 years, and then she returned to babysitting again for many years. Jerry enjoyed time with her large loud family of kids, grandkids and great grandkids. She was blessed with many live-long friends. She went on fun trips with them as well as with her best friend sister Mary and beloved brother in-law Jim. She liked to go to the boats (casino) with Doty as well as a few others. She was blessed to always have the love and support from her ex's family. They referred to her as their sister and stayed with her when they came back to Kansas City. Preceding her in death were her parents, George and Geraldine Cooper; her son, Stan Lamar; her granddaughter, Amy Elizabeth Young; and her sister, Mary Darnell. She is survived her daughters, Kathy Manning and husband Cliff, Gale Lamar, Paula Rough and husband Carl, and Pam Rauscher; son, Rick Lamar; 24 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 2 great, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Jerry will be deeply missed by her family and friends, as well as her grandkids who called her "Me Maw". We all will be reunited in Heaven one Day.
