GERALDINE L. CRAIG

Geraldine L. Craig, age 66, of Belton, Missouri, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.

A Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. on Friday, February 1, 2019 with a Rosary to follow at 7:30 p.m. at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr., Raymore, Missouri 64083. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Coronation of Our Lady, 13000 Bennington Ave., Grandview, Missouri 64030.  Burial will follow immediately at Peculiar Cemetery, 13007 E Cemetery Road, Peculiar Missouri (off HWY J).

Geraldine was born on October 5, 1952 in Louisburg, Kanas. She was the daughter of Lawrence P. Nissen and Barbara (Showalter) Nissen. Geraldine was one of four children including Patricia, Lawrence, and Deborah.

In the summer of 1969, Geraldine was joined in marriage with her husband Michael Craig on August 30 ^th . Together they were blessed with two children, Michael and Karen. For most of Geraldine's life she worked as a seamstress and her love for sewing continued throughout her life. Geraldine also enjoyed fishing and traveling with her husband and was a faithful member of the Coronation of Our Lady Catholic Parish. She also very much loved her two dogs, Benji and Charlie and her grand dog Harley.

Geraldine is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Barbara Nissen; brother Lawrence Nissen II; and nephew, Christopher Ross.

She is survived by her loving husband of over forty-nine years, Michael D. Craig; son, Michael B. Craig; daughter, Karen L. Stanley; and two sisters, Patricia Roker and Deborah Clause (John).

Pallbearers are: Joni Carrico, Tommy Carrico, Allan Craig, Zachery Craig, Andrea Young, and Jessica Young

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association, 6800 93 ^rd Street, Overland Park, Kansas 66212.
