GEORGIA MARIE TALKEN RUDROFF

Georgia Marie Talken Rudroff, 83, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away August 22, 2013 at Foxwood Springs, Raymore. Visitation will be 2-4 PM Sunday, August 25th at Cullen Funeral Home. Funeral Mass to be held 10 AM Monday, August 26th at St. Sabina Catholic Church in Belton and she will be entombed next to her husband Leonard Rudroff at 11 AM with visitation 10-11 AM Tuesday, August 27th at Resurrection Cemetery in Jefferson City. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Sabina Catholic Church, Crossroads Hospice or the charity of your choice.

Mrs. Rudroff was born in Taos, MO to Henry and Leona Talken. Graduating from St. Francis Xavier High school in 1948, she went on to Business School in St. Louis. She married Leonard Rudroff on January 28, 1953 at the St. Francis Xavier Church in Taos, MO. Georgia and her young family moved to Belton in 1954 where they founded Rudroff Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. in 1959. Georgia worked at the company until she became ill.

She is survived by her son Rick and wife Carlene Rudroff of Belton, daughter Renee and husband Peter Kerckhoff of Raymore, grandchildren Derek Rudroff of Raytown, Danielle Kerckhoff of Omaha, Brittany Kerckhoff of Phoenix, Brian Bishop (Tracy) Sedalia, Brandon Bishop (Robin) Malta Bend and 10 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers Gilbert Talken of Jefferson City, Stanley Talken and wife Vicki of Lake Zurich, IL, Bernard Talken and wife Bert of Raymore, and sisters Carrie Landtiser of Lee's Summit, Maxelinda Cleveland of New Bloomfield, Frances Talken and Husband Ralph of Troy, Barbara Poetker and husband Larry of Jefferson City, Catherine Andres and husband Gene of Palatine, IL, and sister-in-law Vivian Talken of Centralia.

She was preceded in death by her husband Leonard Rudroff, brothers Omar Talken and Jerome Talken, brothers-in-law Vincent Holzer, Richard Landtiser, Sylvester Reinkenmeyer, Guy Cleveland, sisters-in-law Rita Rudroff, Alma Rudroff Forck, Margaret Talken, Romajean Talken, and parents Henry Talken and Leona Heimericks Talken.

Georgia was devoted to her family, church, and business. She will be fondly remembered and missed by all.
