GEORGE T. MONTGOMERY

George T. Montgomery, age 83, of Bolivar, Missouri, formerly of Raymore, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at The University of Kansas Hospital.

George was born in Stockton, Missouri on July 29, 1939, the son of Clyde T. and Mable (Hopkins) Montgomery. After graduating high school, George served his country in the United States Air Force. George met the love of his life, Donna Fae Montgomery. Together they were blessed with three children, April, Clyde and George A. Montgomery. In life, George worked as an electrician to provide for his family. George and Donna lived in Raymore, Missouri for many years. After retiring they moved back to Boliver, Missouri. They both loved riding their motorcycles and spending time with the grandchildren.

George was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Fae Montgomery; daughter, April Dawn Fleener; son, Clyde T. Montgomery; parents, Clyde T. and Mable Montgomery; sister, Grace Banta, and brother, Creighton Montgomery.

He is survived by his son, George A. Montgomery; two sisters, Reta Montgomery and Rosalie Smith; four grandchildren, Sara Montgomery, Michael Fleener, Andrew Montgomery, and Nick Montgomery; and one great grandson.
