GEORGE A. LANE, JR.

George A. Lane, Jr., 75, of Peculiar, Missouri passed away December 4, 2010 at Kansas City Hospice House. Funeral services will be 11 AM Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church 1111 W Foxwood Dr., Raymore, MO with visitation 10-11 AM. Graveside services will be 2 PM Wednesday at Antioch Pioneer Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the church. He was born December 11, 1934 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of George A. and Lucille Stratman Lane, Sr. George was a member of the St. Paul's United Methodist Church, an Army Veteran and was an Engineer for Local # 6. He was preceded in death by his parents. George is survived by wife Mary; children, Mark Lane (Norma), Karen English, Susan Keefer (John); sister, Norma Beaulieu; two grandchildren, Kristen English and John M. Keefer.
