GENE W. TOFSRUD
Gene W. Tofsrud, 84, of Raymore, MO passed away November 29, 2017 at the KC Hospice House. Graveside services will be 9 AM Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the Raymore Cemetery with military honors.
Gene was born January 11, 1933 in Madison, Wisconsin, the son of Odin A. Tofsrud and Ida Knutson. Gene was an Air Force Veteran and a member of the Eagle's Lodge in Raymore.
Gene was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Freda L. Tofsrud; two sisters, Nina Bjornstad and Francis Hull; and one great-grandson, Seamus T. Faulds.
He is survived by his one son, Douglas E. Tofsrud, Sr.; two daughters, Priscilla Johnson and husband Michael, and Dasiy Brooks and husband Doug; four grandchildren, Douglas Tofsrud, Jr., Ashley Manroe (Matt), Carman Carter (Jordan) and Douglas Brooks, Jr.; and three great-grandchildren, Damien, Gaberial and Claire.
