GENE EDWARD LUCAS
Gene Edward Lucas, 68, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away February 5, 2011. He was born April 14, 1942 in Centerville, Iowa, the son of John and Vivian Speak Lucas. He was a production scheduler for Peterson Mfg., and a member of Lord of Love Lutheran Church. Gene was a loving husband, father, and brother. Gene is survived by his wife, Valeeta; sons, Gene E. Lucas, Jr. and wife Sharon, John B. Lucas and partner Mike; sisters, Cindy Buchholz and husband Dave, and Elizabeth McHenry and husband Bob. Other survivors include loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at Lord of Love Lutheran Church, 8306 E. 171st St., Belton, Missouri, with visitation 6-8 PM Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at Cullen Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
