GARY LYNN WELBORN

Gary Lynn Welborn, 71, passed away March 24, 2014. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Friday, March 28, 2014 at Cullen Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7 PM. Gary was born on September 6, 1942 in Joliet, Illinois. He served as a paratrooper in the 101 ^st Airbourne Division of the U.S. Army from 1962 to 1968. Gary was a life-long resident in the Belton/Raymore area. He was a long-time member of Local 124 Electrical Union and retired form Honeywell, Inc. in 2006.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, John and Pearl Welborn; brother, Gail Welborn and sister, Virginia Wallace.

Gary is survived by his wife, Carol, of 34 years; daughters, Deanna Michelle Moore (Byron); Dana Worley (Gary) and Kathy Jordan; sons, Derek Welborn (Kelly) and Robert Jordan (Lorrie); brother, Jack Welborn (Carol); sister, Shirley Paul (Sonny); 11 grandchildren, Joshua, Aarika, Aubrey, Cortni, Austin, Conor, Cody, Kaysie, Chase, Heather and Shane; 9 great grandchildren, Wyatt, Daylen, Nora, Lennon, Gauge, Conner, J.J., Brianna and Geordyn; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family.
