FREDDIE (FRED) EUGENE MANLEY

Fred passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on January 31st, 2012 at the age of 67 in North Kansas City. Fred was born May 4, 1944 in Dyess Arkansas. Fred and his family relocated to Lee's Summit, Missouri during the mid 50's. He graduated from Lee's Summit High School in 1962. Fred worked in the family business Manley's Appliance from High School until his passing.

He was one of three children born to the late Milton and Lela Mae Manley and was the beloved husband to his wife Shirley for 49 years. Fred has two brothers, John Manley of Belton and Ted Manley of Lee's Summit. Fred has three children, Dan and wife Beth Manley from Lee's Summit, MO, Dennis and wife Beth Manley from Pleasant Hill, MO, and Melissa and Doug Kincaid from Peculiar, MO; treasured grandchildren, Nathan, Nicholas, Megan Manley, Derik, Devon, and Kendra Kincaid; several nieces, nephews and cousins and countless friends whom were blessed to know him. Fred loved spending time with his family, working on cars, and an occasional visit to the casinos. Fred was a Master Mason at Summit Lodge 263 in Lee's Summit.

Fred touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity, and maintained his great sense of humor. He truly valued his family and friends. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 5, at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Drive, Raymore, MO 64083. Visitation from 12-2 p.m., at the funeral home. The family requests all in lieu of flower, donations sent to the Lee's Summit Social Services, 108 SE 4th Street, Lee's Summit, MO 64063.
