FRANCES P. BROWN
Frances P. Brown, 93, of Raytown, Missouri, former longtime resident of Beeville, Texas, passed away December 1, 2011 at Hidden Lake Nursing Home in Raytown, Missouri. She was born April 2, 1918 in Wichita Falls, Texas, the daughter of Frank and Pauline Burns. Frances married Benton Brown in 1937 and was the loving mother of two children. Frances was the quintessential pastor's wife and loved playing the piano and organ and for the churches where Benton served as the pastor in Florence, Nixon, Freer, Denison, Beeville, Skidmore, and Blanconia, Texas. She touched the lives of everyone she met through her genuine Christian spirit; nobody was a stranger to Frances for long. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Rev. Benton C. Brown, daughter Patricia Ray, her brothers Louis and Frank, and her sister Othelia. She is survived by her son, Charles Brown and wife Robin of Cedar Hill, Texas; son-in-law, Hal Ray of Kansas City, Missouri; sister, Evelyn Trott of Wichita Falls, Texas; five grandchildren, Christopher Ray, Gregory Ray, Julie Ray, Benton Brown, Patrick Brown, and six great-grandchildren, Bethany, Brittany, Ashley, Katie, Christopher, and Emily Ray.
