FLOYD EMANUEL HULT

Floyd "Poppy" Emanuel Hult, age 85, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023 surrounded by his loving family members.

Services will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m.

Floyd was born in Wausa, Nebraska on March 9, 1938 to Paul and Martha Hult. After graduating high school, Floyd continued his education and received his associate degree. He worked for many years at the University Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska, where he shared his faith and love for so many others. In the summer of 1959, Floyd was joined in marriage with his wife Janice (Joachimsen) on June 21st in Bloomfield, Nebraska. Along with Floyd's deep faith in God, came his love for old hymns. For many years, Floyd and Janice would play cards with friends often. His family was very important to him, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Floyd was a huge baseball fan, especially the St. Louis Cardinals. This was a lifelong passion as he would listen to games on the radio as a child and presently would have to have all the baseball channels so he would not miss a game.

Floyed was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Martha Hult; all six of his siblings; and son in law, Ernest Henry.

Cherishing Floyd's memory are his wife, Janice Hult; daughter, Kimberly Henry; two grandchildren, Ashley Eppert (husband Dylan) and Andrew Henry; and three great grandchildren, Bentley, Harper, and Lyla Eppert.
