FLONIA SMITH

Flonia Smith, age 91, of Harrisonville, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 11, 2026 at Foxwood Springs Senior Living.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2026 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at the Raymore Church of Christ, 107 N. Woodson Dr., Raymore, Missouri 64083. Flonia will then be laid to rest at the Peculiar Cemetery.

Flonia was born in Mount Judy, Arkansas on July 28, 1934 to Rufus Burdine and Margaret (Criner). A few years after graduating high school, Flonia was married to her late husband, Royce Smith on July 29, 1955. Their union was blessed with two sons, Steven and Danny. For many years, Flonia worked for AT&T. In life she was held a strong Christian faith, loved spending time with her family and was a homebody. She was a well known and loved member of the Raymore Church of Christ.

Flonia was preceded in death by her husband, Royce Smith; parents; and two brothers, Robert Burdine and Tommy Joe Cheatham.

She is survived by her two sons, Steven Smith (Toni) and Danny Smith (Bridget); six grandchildren, Brittany Williams (Curtis), Nickolas Smith, Chase Smith, Samantha Smith, Brandon Smith, and Jamie Smith; and two great-grandchildren, Ava and Carter Williams.
