EVA RAMIREZ
Eva Ramirez, age 87, of Peculiar, Missouri, passed away on May 23, 2018, with her family by her side, at the Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri.
Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. , with visitation from 12:00-1:00 p.m. , on Saturday, May 26 , at Cullen Funeral Home, Raymore, Missouri. Burial will take place at the Raymore Cemetery.
Eva was born on October 16, 1930. She was the youngest of seven siblings born to Cirilo and Maria (Vasquez) Sifuentes.
On October 31, 1951, Eva was united in marriage with James R. Ramirez. Together, Eva and James were blessed with four children, Danna, James, Jr., Carole, and John.
Eva worked for TWA for several years, until she became a homemaker and lovingly raised her children at home. Years later, she became a bookkeeper for the Southgate Bank in Prairie Village, Kansas, where she remained for 16 years.
Her hobbies included traveling, crocheting, watching TV, and supporting her favorite sports teams.
Eva was preceded in death by her parents, Cirilo and Maria Sifuentes; her husband of 60 years, James R. Ramirez, Sr., and her six siblings.
She is survived by her children, Danna York and husband, Tim, James R. Ramirez, Jr., Carole Smith and husband, Cary, and John A. Ramirez, Sr.; 12 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
