ESTHER MAE GRANT

Esther Mae Grant, age 91, of Tyler, Texas, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025.

Services will be held on March 28, 2026. Specific details will be provided as more information becomes available.

Esther was born in Michigan City, Indiana on March 28, 1934 to Frank Knoll and Florence (Doran) Knoll. Esther graduated high school and worked a good majority of her life as an accountant in retail as well as in hospitals. Esther enjoyed her hospital work as she loved to serve others. She also like sewing, square dancing, taking road trips, and spending time with her family. Esther was the greatest defender of her family as she was very proud of them.

Esther was preceded in death by her husband Robert Allen Grant, Sr.; parents, Frank and Florence Knoll; two sons, Douglas Eugene Grant and Daniel Timothy Grant; four brothers, Robert Knoll, Edward Knoll, Frank Knoll Jr., and Jerry Knoll; and brother in law, Vern Kloss.

She is survived by three sons, Greg Grant (Bonnie), Garry Grant (Laura), and Robert Grant Jr. (Susan); brother, Stanley Knoll (Lisa); two sisters, Margie Kloss and Diane Reed; twelve grandchildren; twenty six great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
