ELLEN ANN MOORE

Ellen Ann "Grams" (Butler) Moore , of Raymore, Mo, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2021. She was born in Oklahoma on November 30, 1931, and grew up in Illinois. As an adult, she lived all over the United States and Germany with her husband Bob, who was in the Air Force. She studied education at the University of Hawaii, and was a passionate amateur genealogist. She published two books about her family history. She worked for the Social Security Administration, and enjoyed helping people. Her husband was mayor of Raymore in the 80s and 90s, and Ellen took pleasure in being part of the growing community.

Ellen was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Moore, and her sister Joyce Lloyd. She is survived by her sister Mary Sue Thomas, three children, Karen Mckinney, Richard Moore, and Shelley Byers, six grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Monday, December 20, 2021 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083.
