ELIZABETH J. TAYLOR

Elizabeth J. Taylor, 95, of Raymore, MO passed away March 13, 2017 at the Waterford Ladies' Home in Blue Springs. Memorial service will be 3:00 PM Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Cullen Funeral Home with visitation 2-3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Children's Mercy Hospital 2401 Gillham Rd, Kansas City, MO 64108.

Elizabeth was born July 3, 1921 in Holden, Missouri, the daughter of Emmet and Emma (Buskirk) Jourden. Elizabeth later married Marvin E. Taylor and they were blessed with two wonderful boys, Larry and Gene.

Elizabeth worked as a Sales Clerk for Heers Department Store in Springfield, Missouri and later she served as the City Clerk for Rolla, Missouri for 10 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marvin E. Taylor; brother, JD Jourden; and sister, Nadine Copeland.
She is survived by her two sons, Larry W. Taylor and wife Judy of Raymore, Missouri and Gene D. Taylor and wife Eileen of Boulder, Colorado; five grandchildren, Mark Taylor (Alison), Michael Taylor (Angel), Matthew Taylor (Susan), Tom Taylor (Heather) and Carrie Taylor; and nine great-grandchildren.
