December 4, 1969 to December 12, 2010

Elizabeth Kristine (King) DeVoogd, 41, was surrounded by her loving family when she passed away on December 12, 2010 at 10:41 in the morning. Elizabeth was born December 4, 1969, at Menorah Medical Center in Kansas City, MO, to Kathleen Elizabeth Kraly and Othel Virgil King. Elizabeth's life was about loving fiercely and giving selflessly. She had a great passion for helping others in need. Her greatest joy in life was being a proud mother and granny. Everyone she knew was captivated and amazed by her beautiful spirit and heart. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her grandmother and grandfather Bessie and Finis King, her grandfather Bill Liggett, her father-in-law Harold DeVoogd, and her sister Ramona McQuaid. Survivors include her husband Troy DeVoogd, her parents Kathleen Kraly and Virgil King, her grandmother Ruth Liggett, her mother-in-law Joyce DeVoogd, her daughters Ashley Lepage and Alyssa Springate, her stepdaughter Gabrielle DeVoogd, and her precious grandbabies Mason and Triston Snow, and Scout Moore. She also leaves behind her sisters, Brenda Williston, Janice Walker, Alexis Falcon, and Sarah Kraly, her brother Weston Kraly, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. A visitation will be held at St. Sabina Catholic Church, 700 Trevis Ave., Belton, MO, from 5-8 PM on Friday, December 17, 2010. The funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 10 AM at St. Sabina. The burial will be at Belton Cemetery followed by a reception at Saint Sabina. Family will direct all donations to the Iowa Donation Network.
Elizabeth's spirit will live on in the five lives she saved through donation and in the hearts of those who love her.
