DOROTHY P. KAMINSKI

Dorothy P. Kaminski, age 87, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.

A graveside service will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery in Kansas City, Missouri on Friday, August 11, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.

Dorothy was born in Mason County, Texas to Jesse James Thames and Eva (Henry) Thames on December 5, 1935. After graduating high school, Dorothy continued on with her education. For many years she worked as a data entry supervisor for House of Lloyd. In life, Dorothy was a hard and dedicated worker. She enjoyed spending time with her family, bowling, traveling, and had a passion for cats.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Eva Thames; husband, John L. Kaminski; son, John A. Kaminski; three sisters, Eleanor Myrick, Mildred Osteen, and Louis Keowan; and brother, Herbert Thames.

Here to cherish her memory are her children, Darlene James (Jeff) and William Kaminski (LeAnn); two sisters, Thelma Foshee and Aileen Wyatt; three grandchildren, John Stansbury, Ian James (Kaitlyn), and Devyn James; and two great grandchildren, MacKinleigh James and Miles James.
