DONOVAN EMMANUEL RIVAS-RAMIREZ

Donovan Emmanuel Rivas-Ramirez, age 15, of Belton, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 21, 2020.

A funeral mass will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at St. Sabina Catholic Church, 700 Trevis Ave., Belton, Missouri 64012. Prior to the funeral a visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr., Raymore, Missouri 64083. Burial will be held following the mass at Raymore Cemetery in Raymore, Missouri.

Donovan was born in Kansas City, Missouri on April 27, 2005 to Albino Rivas and Ana Ramirez. Donovan grew up with four siblings, Cristian, Johathan, Evelin, Katrerin. He just finished his freshman year at Belton High School and was looking forward to going back as a sophomore. In life, Donovan enjoyed playing video games, listening to music, playing and watching soccer especially Barcelona soccer, running track, hanging out with his friends, and loved to eat all sorts of food.

Donovan was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather and grandmother, and maternal grandfather.

He leaves behind his loving parents, Albino Rivas and Ana Ramirez; two brothers Cristian Rivas-Ramirez and Jonathan Rivas-Ramirez; two sisters, Evelin Rivas-Ramirez and Katrerin Idoania Rivas; maternal grandmother, Julia Ramirez; godfather, Thomas Violante; godmother, Mercedes Ramirez; and best friend, Anthony Meza.
