DONNA K. WILSON

Donna K. Wilson, age 69, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away September 21, 2017, surrounded by the love of her family at St. Joseph Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri.

A Celebration of Life will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Cullen Funeral Home, Raymore, MO. Memorial contributions may be given to the Wounded Warrior Project, 7400 College Blvd., Suite 350, Overland Park, Kansas, 66210.

Donna was born October 6, 1947 in Kansas City, Missouri. She was the daughter of Eugene and Mildred (Davis) Thompson. After graduating from high school, Donna worked for the Lake City Ammunition Plant in Independence, Missouri.

Donna lovingly supported her family as a clerk for the Department of Defense. For over 33 years, she worked for the Federal Government until her retirement. Donna was a people person who did not like to be idle, so after her retirement, she enjoyed working as a waitress for TJ's Café in Grandview, Missouri. Above everything else in her life, Donna held her family in the highest regard, and she especially enjoyed spending time with them and relaxing at Stockton Lake.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Mildred Thompson.
She is survived by her significant other, Richard Charriere; her son, Jim Wilson and his wife, Christy; three grandchildren, Ryann, Payton, and Laynee; and many friends.
