DONNA MAE PARKER

Donna Mae Parker, age 83, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, January 5, 2020.

A celebration of Donna's life will be held with a visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083.

Donna was born in Akron Ohio in the summer of 1936 on August 7 ^th . She was the daughter of Virgil Patrick Beck and Mary Beck. Growing up Donna had a twin brother, Donald Beck. After graduating high school, Donna continued her education and graduated in 1958 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Advertising Design from Akron Art Institute School of Design. In life, Donna was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and had a passion for painting as she created many pieces. In July 1958, Donna was joined in marriage with her late husband, Delbert Ray Parker. Together they were blessed with two sons, Douglas and David. During their children's childhood they lived in many states, but North Carolina is where she called home. Living only an hour away, she would always enjoy a trip to the beach. Donna raised collies. One of her favorite collies was a smooth collie named "Buck" who showed very well and became a registered champion.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Delbert, her parents, Virgil and Mary Beck, and her twin brother, Donald.

She is survived by her son David and his wife Mary, her son Doug and his wife Sheryl, her granddaughter Ashley McGuire and her husband Weston McGuire, and her granddaughter Melanie Parker.
