DONNA M. JENSEN
Donna M. Jensen, Angels came to carry Mom away on July 11, 2014. She was born Donna Marie Bergtholdt on July 15, 1920 in Carthage, South Dakota. She came from a large family of brothers and sisters born to David Bergtholdt and Olive McGee Zink Bergtholdt, and enjoyed a strong family connection throughout her life. Donna married Merle K. Jensen on March 4, 1945 after World War II ended. She enjoyed being a homemaker and a Christian, and became a role model for others with her faith in God, her devotion to her family and her strong work ethic. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, crocheting and cross stitching, and inspirational reading. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Merle K. Jensen, and many of her siblings. Survivors include her son, Randy Jensen (Jeanne) of Harrisonville, MO, a granddaughter, three grandsons, and ten great grandchildren. Private graveside service.
