DONALD DURWARD ROWDEN

Donald Durward Rowden, 90, of Belton, MO, passed away at his home to be with the Lord on April 16, 2016.
Funeral service will begin at Noon, Friday, April 22, 2016 at Cullen Funeral Home with visitation from 11-Noon.

Don was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Vivian L. Rowden; his parents, Paul Rowden and Dannie Rowden; Two brothers, Robert Rowden and Lendall Rowden. He is survived by his sister, Deana Grubaugh; three sons, Jimmy Rowden (Darnell), Jerry Rowden (Pamela), Jack Rowden (Teresa); five Grandchildren, Liz King (Matt), Paul Rowden, Justin Rowden (Krista), Brooke Rowden, Grace Rowden; four Great-Grandchildren, Mitchell Allen, Sean King, Taylor King and Lindsey King.

Don was a WWII Navy veteran, GM retiree, charter member of Victory Hills Baptist Church (KCK) and a life-long member of the Masonic Lodge. After retirement, Don and wife Vivian, moved to Branson and in their later years, returned to the Kansas City area. The family expresses their appreciation for the exceptional care provided by Continua Hospice.
