DONALD L. ROGERS

Donald L. Rogers, age 88, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Foxwood Springs in Raymore, Missouri.

Donald was born in the summer of 1930 on June 16 ^th in Clinton, Missouri. He was the son of Ira and Beulah Rogers. Donald was an only child and shortly after turning eighteen years of age, joined the United States Coast Guard and proudly served his country and retired with honors. Donald was blessed with three daughters Tammy, Terry, and Tracy. For twenty-five years Donald worked for the Union Pacific Railroad, committing the next eighteen years to Honey Well before retiring. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 450 in Belton, MO for over 50 years. He also attended the Truman Villa's Prayer Group for over ten years.

He also was a driver for the Cancer Society where he met is beloved wife Selma Rogers.

Donald entered into marriage with his wife Selma Castleberry on September 11, 2013.

Donald is preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Beulah Rogers.

He is survived by his loving wife of five years, Selma Rogers; four children Tammy Sims (Walter), Terry Allan (Derrick), Tracy Rogers, and Wade Buford Jr. (Nicole); seven grandchildren, Colan, Conner, Kassie, Rachel, Alannah (Dustin), Xade`, and Elysseah; and three great grandchildren, Zoie, Kalea, and Paisley.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 West Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri. An Inurnment Graveside will take place at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas with Military Honors.
