DONALD E. MOORE

Donald E. Moore, age 86, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2020 in his home.

A private family burial will be held at Fort Leavenworth.

Donald was born on April 24, 1933 in Kansas City, Kansas. He was the son of Forrest Edward Moore and Donna Marie (Decaney) Moore. After graduating high school, Donald furthered his education and served his country honorably in the United States Army as a Medic in the Korean War and attained the rank of Sergeant. Donald created a career for himself as a bricklayer and was a union member with the local KC Bricklayers Union #15. In life Donald enjoyed playing golf and loved his dog Rocsi and cat Clyde.

Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Gayle Moore; parents, Forrest and Donna Moore; brother Marvin Moore; and son Michael D. Moore.

He is survived by his son Kevin Moore (Yanti); daughter DeeDee Campbell (Tim); six grandchildren, Daisy Conn, Rachel, Jessica, Carmenita, Michael, and Michelle Moore; and one great grandchild on the way.
