DONALD EDWARD KUECK

Donald Edward Kueck, age 78, of Belton, Missouri passed away peacefully on January 6, 2025, at Menorah Medical Center in Leawood, Kansas.

Services will be held Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at St. Sabina Catholic Church 700 Trevis Ave., Belton, Missouri 64012. Visitation from 9:30-10:30 a.m., Rosary at 10:30 a.m. and Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 a.m.

Don was born in Sedalia, Missouri on June 3, 1946, the son of William C. Payne and Elizabeth L. Nutt. Shortly after graduating high school, Don joined the Kansas City Local Carpenters Union where he began his career for over 40 years. Don met the love of his life, Diane Gail Watts and later were married on February 6, 1968. Together they were blessed with their son Troy. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and a loyal friend to many. Don lived to go deer hunting, but also enjoyed boating, fishing, and having a beer (or 2) with family and friends. They would all agree, he was one of a kind!

Don was preceded in death by his parents.

Here to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 56 years, Diane Kueck; his son Troy Kueck; two granddaughters, Brook Kueck and Haley Dixson (Daric); and two great granddaughters, Brynley and Maddix.
