DONALD RAY HESTER
Donald Ray Hester, 83, of Raymore, Missouri passed away October 15, 2012 at Rehabilitation Center of Raymore. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, October 18, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Raymore with visitation from 9:30 to 11:00 AM. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Friday at Oak Forest Cemetery, Birch Tree, Missouri. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Raymore Building Fund. He was born September 5, 1929 in Cedar Gap, Missouri, the son of Orel and Hazel Davis Hester. He was a U.S. Air Force Viet Nam Veteran, and worked at General Motors. Donald was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Connie; two brothers and 1 sister. He is survived by his wife Virginia of 62 years; children, Lin Dickerson (Larry), Michael Hester (Ruth), Teresa Martin (Melvin); four grandchildren; Jennifer, Russell, Heather, Holly, three great grandchildren, Wyatt, Michael and Jett; three sisters, Lila Pulliam (Lloyd), Donna Shaw and Mary Pierce.
