DIXIE DEE PERKINS

Dixie D. Perkins, age 74, of Belton, Missouri, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2019.

A Visitation Service will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. Immediately following at 2:30 p.m. a Funeral Service will be held at Cullen Funeral Home. An interment will take place following the Funeral Service at Glenwild Cemetery, Cleveland, Missouri.

Dixie was born on July 7, 1945 in Miami, Missouri. She was the daughter of Joe Clements and Dorothy (Jenkins) Clements. After high school, Dixie was joined in marriage with her late husband Charlie E. Perkins. Together they were blessed with two children, Dwayne and Dee. Dixie and her family owned and operated their automotive service stations and farm since 1967. While this did take much of her time, she also enjoyed traveling with her loved ones, taking care of her yard and garden and going out with friends and family on Friday nights. She was a member of Belton Presbyterian Church.

Dixie is preceded in death by her loving husband of over forty years, Charlie E. Perkins; and her parents, Joe and Dorothy Clements.

She is survived by her son, Dwayne Perkins; daughter Dee Cobern (Shannon); three brothers, Darrell (Cookie) Macumber, Joe Clements Jr. (Connie), and Alan Clements (Nancy); and three grandchildren, Ashley Cobern, Brett Cobern, and Tucker Perkins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. Luke's Hospice House 3516 Summit St., Kansas City, Missouri 64111.
