DENISE K. SEALS

Denise K. Seals, age 63, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away peacefully at home on April 14th, 2017 in the presence and love of her family. Funeral service will begin at 5:00 p.m., with visitation from 3:00-5:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 18th at Cullen Funeral Home in Raymore.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Kansas City Hospice Foundation (1500 Meadow Lake Parkway, Suite 200, Kansas City, Missouri 64114) or to the American Cancer Society (1100 Pennsylvania Avenue, Kansas City, Missouri 64105).

Denise was born October 7, 1953 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was the daughter of Herbert K. Rietz and Janie M. (Grady) Rietz. For over 25 years, Denise lovingly supported her family by working as a Lab Technician for Lab Corp (formerly KC Cancer Centers).

At home Denise was an artist; she enjoyed painting abstract compositions and she also created various arts and crafts. Being especially fond of flowers and plants, Denise would adorn her home with the inspirational beauty of nature. But above all, Denise held her children, grandchildren, and family in the highest regard.

Denise was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Janie Rietz.
She is survived by her children, Lorie Sloan (Brian), Kimberly McDonald (Terry), and Billy Seals (Alysha); eight grandchildren, Blake, Jacob, Dayvis, Irelynn, Isabella, Kacee, Jake and Megan; one great-grandchild, Charli; and one brother, Philip Rietz (Jeanie).
