DELMA A. PARKS
Delma A. Parks, 90, of Raymore, MO passed away September 30, 2013 at Foxwood Spring Living Center. Delma was born July 24, 1923 in rural Douglas County, Kansas, the daughter of William Elmer Nichols and Sophia Breicheisen Nichols. She graduated from Lawrence High School and the University of Kansas. In Lawrence she was employed by the Lawrence School District and The University of Kansas. In 1952 she moved to Kansas City and was employed for twenty-six years by AT&T. In 1960 she married Noel Parks. They lived 42 years in Kansas City prior to their move to Foxwood Springs Living Center, Raymore, MO in 2002. Survivors include a twin sister, Doris Danley of Colorado City, Texas and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2006 and a brother, Raymond Nichols in 1994. Cremation. In according with her wishes there will be no memorial services. Memorials may be made to Children's Mercy Hospital.
