David L. Wallace, 69, of Belton, MO passed away April 19, 2018 surrounded by his loving family at Research Medical Center.
Visitation will be held
6-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2018
at Cullen Funeral Home, Raymore, MO. Funeral services will be held
10:00 a.m.
Wednesday, April 25th at Cullen Funeral Home. Burial will be in Belton Cemetery with Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association

David was born in Detroit, Michigan, the son of John and Helen. David was united into marriage with Linda and together they were blessed with six children.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda, of 46 years; six children, Sharon Wallace, Doug Wallace (Sandy), Stacy Gomez (Ramon), Ben Wallace (Nicole), Abby Ross (Mike), and Sarah Joyner (Scott); brother, Jack Wallace (Ronnie); sister, Cindy Lucas (Howard); 14 grandchildren, Kayla, Cody, Quenton, Matthew, Emma, Jacob, Paxton, Reagan, Hazel, Reese, Sophie, Wallace (Wynn), Harper and Silas.
David was a loyal friend and dedicated to his community. Cheerful in all weathers, his pleasant laughter was genuine. A Vietnam Veteran, David served his country honorably as an outstanding Marine. Semper Fi.
David was preceded in death by his parents; step-mother, Mary Mildred Wallace; and grandson, Zachary Wallace.
The legacy David leaves behind will forever epitomize the integrity and good character that is David L. Wallace.
The Wallace family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Beary, Dr. Cox, Dr. Chilappa, Dr. Muther, Dr. Alford, Dr. Weisburg and Dr. Alshami; the ICU nurses Tyler, Gail, Parker, Allison, Loretta, Brooklyn and Kelsey, and all of the ICU staff at Research Medical Center. These professionals provided extraordinary care and support during David's extended illness.
In loving memory of a kind and gentle man who touched the world with an open heart.
