DAVID LEE ROSA

David Lee Rosa, age 61, of Belton, Missouri passed away on Tuesday July 18, 2023 at Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park, Kansas.

David was born on August 27, 1961 in Amarillo, Texas to James Martin Rosa and Arlene (Littlehawk) Rosa. Dave graduated from Belton high school in Belton, Missouri and honorably served his country in the United States Army. For 30 years he worked as a mechanic and welder at Croft Trailer. In life, Dave was a man made for the outdoors. He loved hiking and arrowhead hunting with Rae. He was also a gun enthusiast and enjoyed gold prospecting. He loved watching the Kansas City Chiefs, keeping up on politics, and hunting for Big Foot. He was a proud member of the Native American tribe, Lakota Sioux.

David was preceded in death by his father, Jim Rosa; and stepdaughter, Montana Lewison.
David is survived by his mother, Arlene Rosa; significant other, Rae Jepsen; two daughters, Rachael Hargus (Craig), Katy Rosa, and stepdaughter, Sara Jepsen. Two brothers, Marty Rosa (Luvenia) and Tim Rosa (Debbie), sister, Nancy Cooke (Terry), Five grandchildren, Weslee Hargus, Maci Piper, Easton Hargus, Creed Hargus, and Sophi Hawkins; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
