DAVID FRED HONIGMAN

David F. Honigman, age 55, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2019, at St. Luke's Hospital.

A visitation service will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Sabina Catholic Church, 700 Trevis Ave., Belton, Missouri 64012. A Memorial Mass will be held following the visitation at 11:00am.

David was born on December 1, 1964 to Fred Honigman and Judith J. (Maxwell) Honigman. He grew up in Kansas City, Missouri, where he attended Visitation and Saint Agnes Grade Schools. After graduating from Bishop Miege High School, David attended Longview Community College to achieve his associate degree in Applied Science, Automotive Technology Mechanical. He joined the United States Airforce and served his country as a Crew Chief for C-141 Starlifter, after which he founded Honigman Heating and Cooling in Shelbyville, Illinois.

David had a lifelong passion for music and books, was known by those who knew him as kind-hearted and caring, and belonged to a family that will forever love him. He is survived by his two daughters, Victoria Lofthouse (Zachary) and Katherine Honigman; parents Fred and Judy Honigman; brother Mark Honigman (Stacy); sisters Diane Foster (John) and Kim Enyart (Scott); many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Salvation Army, 3637 Broadway Blvd., Kansas City, Missouri 64111.
